Birth Control after Miscarriage 01/10/2012

Miscarriage is one of the most painful experiences a woman can experience. It is really disheartening when the baby you are expecting is lost. Aside from emotional sickness, the physical body of a woman needs to heal. Having a miscarriage for my third pregnancy is so painful. After an ectopic pregnancy in 2010, I just had another miscarriage in April 2011. The weakly positive I got from my pregnancy test is a sign, but I was so hopeful that I can still continue to have the baby. But on my third month, the red blood that comes out my vagina frightens me. I requested for an ultrasound, and sadly we found out that the embryo has no heartbeat at its ninth week.

At first, I was on denial. I took another two ultrasounds, but the result is just the same. For how many nights I cried, thinking how it happened after all the precautions I made for my pregnancy. There was a time that I blame myself for losing the baby. M OB-Gynecologist told me that the miscarriage was due to chromosomal abnormality. If the baby lives, it would have defects and abnormalities. After how many months, I accepted the fact that it was not meant for me. I am just thankful that at least I have already a baby.

I and my husband were traumatized for the two consecutive miscarriages. We decided not to conceive again for two years. That is to give my body and our hearts time to heal again. We decided to have birth control. We did not have sex until my period came. Since I have regular period, we used the rhythm method. M doctor also suggested for Yasmin or Yaz lawsuit.
Before thinking of getting pregnant again, make sure that you had already given yourself enough time to heal. Wait for the hormones of your body to stabilize after a miscarriage. For our next baby, we will make sure that we are read physically, mentally, emotionally and financially.
